Schweinfurter U17 is subject to Bavaria U16: Hope for reparation!

In an exciting, albeit challenging football game, the U17 of the Schweinfurter Jungschnüdel met the U16 team of FC Bayern Munich last weekend. Despite the great challenge, the Schweinfurters had traveled to Munich with confidence after they had recently achieved impressive results.

The game started promising for the guests. Already in the 6th minute, Christoph Röll scored a quick hit, which brought the team an early 1-0 lead. FC Bayern took some time to find into the game, but put the pressure high from the 30th minute. The Schweinfurt defense had to assert itself against the increasing offensive campaigns of the Munich team, but was initially able to ward off the most dangerous opportunities. Shortly before the half -time whistle, Bayern managed to equalize by standard situation and the first 45 minutes ended with a 1: 1.

crucial turning points of the second half

The second half began promising for the Schweinfurter, who wanted to build on the strong defensive performance of the first 30 minutes. However, individual mistakes in the defense allowed FC Bayern a quick double strike in the 44th and 47th minute, which practically decided the game. In the final minute, FC Bayern increased to 4: 1 with the help of a penalty, which means that the Schweinfurter did not get closer to their goal of a better result.

The U17 of the FC05 will have to look back on the accumulated errors in order to be better prepared for the upcoming games. At the next weekend, special attention is paid to the current league leader SpVgg Bayreuth, which was first beaten this season - from the team of FC Bayern.
