Lower Franconia receives 13 million euros: Bad Kissingen is left empty!

A shock for the Bad Kissingen district! While 23 municipalities in Lower Franconia are given a whopping 13 million euros of state needs assignments and stabilization aids, Bad Kissingen is completely empty. Finance and homeland minister Albert Füracker announced on Friday, November 8, that neither Bad Kissingen, which received 2.3 million euros last year, can benefit from this financial support.

Aids are of crucial importance for many communities to consolidate their households and create new scope for action. Particularly weak and demographically stressed municipalities in rural areas are dependent on this support. But there is nothing for Bad Kissingen and his neighbors this year - a hard setback for the affected cities and municipalities!

who benefits?

The largest benefits in Lower Franconia go to the rural districts of Rhön-Grabfeld and Haßberge, each receiving 2.9 million euros, as well as to the city of Bad Königshofen, which is considered at 1.33 million euros. While other municipalities cheer, Bad Kissingen stops in the financial cold. The effects of this decision could be far -reaching, because the need to stabilize your own finances is becoming increasingly pressing for the affected cities.
