New mobility center in Oberwart: better traffic for the region!

In autumn 2020, another mobility center was launched in the freight transport center (GVZ) Augsburg. This is operated by the local Auto Reichhardt company and includes an area of ​​around 3,500 m² on Karlsruher Straße. According to GVZ Augsburg The new building increases the marketing rate for logistics and service areas to 92 percent. The managing director of GVZ-Development Measure GmbH, Ralf Schmidtmann, underlined the importance of the new service offer for the region and emphasized that Auto Reichhardt is moving into the GVZ with sustainable commitment and a comprehensive service portfolio, including Emobility.

The family -run company, which was founded in Augsburg in 1927, plans the groundbreaking ceremony for a new hall with a workshop and office at 1,300 m² in autumn. The opening of the branch is planned for spring 2021. This step is expected to take at least ten additional jobs, including professional drivers and car mechatronics technicians. The close connection to the motorway and the new workshops will also improve the towing and breakdown aid for the Greater Augsburg area, since Auto Reichhardt acts as an ADAC contract partner and optimized the entire internal vehicle logistics.
