Around 3:07 p.m., during a mission, which was carried out by the Bergtheim volunteer fire brigade, there was a collision with a tractor -trailer. The fire engine was on the road in an emergency situation and had the right to use the street as part of its operational drive.

The accident came about when the oncoming vehicle, a silver Mercedes saddle train, touched the exterior mirror of the fire engine. Despite the optimal positioning of the fire engine, which drove as far as possible, the truck did not stop, but continued its journey undeterred. The damage to the fire engine amounts to around 150 euros, specifically on the left exterior mirror.
