CSU list for Berlin: Strong women's power team from Lower Franconia!

Bad Kissingen, Deutschland - The CSU in Lower Franconia sets a clear sign with the recently listed list for the Bundestag election. The Aschaffenburg member of the Bundestag Andrea Lindholz has secured the coveted second place, followed by Dorothee Bär from Ebelsbach in sixth and Dr. Anja Weisgerber from Schwebheim in twelve. Dr. Hülya Düber from Würzburg also succeeds the departing MP Paul Lehrieder and rounds off the top positions with 26th place. The list is led by Alexander Dobrindt from Peißenberg, the chairman of the CSU state group in the German Bundestag. Steffen Vogel, the CSU-Unterfranken boss, expressed his satisfaction about the strong positioning of the candidates: "I am very satisfied and thank all Lower Franconian candidates who set a clear sign for Bavaria in Berlin with their strong positioning," as aschaffenburg.news reported.

memory of Jewish history

At the same time, in Aschaffenburg on Wolfsthalplatz, the tragic history of the Jewish community is reminded. Since 1983 the museum on Jewish history and culture has been housed there in the former rabbinat building. The permanent exhibition addresses the development of the Jewish community since 1267 until the horrors of National Socialism, when over 300 Jewish citizens from Aschaffenburg were deported. The place itself, once the location of the synagogue, was renamed Wolfsthalplatz in 1946 and designed as a green area. A monument to the former synagogue is reminiscent of the destruction during the November pogrom 1938. Otto Wolfsthal, after whom the square was named, was a remarkable benefactor who, even after the seizure of power of the National Socialists in Aschaffenburg, remained suicide in 1942 after he was to be deported with his family, as on wikipedia can be read.
