The bank pressers of KSC 2 Amberg caused a sensation at the German Championships in Greifswald! Five championship titles and four athletes broke the World Cup standard for the World Championships in Norway. This is a glamorous result that amazes the competition!

On Friday, the competitions started with the women in the classic area. Here the reigning Equiped world champion Gabi Hirner showed all her skills and secured the title in her weight class. Manuela Horst also demonstrated her talent and also triumphed. The men followed with Wolfgang Zimmermann, who pressed 192.5 kg in age group 2 to 120 kg and thus also won the championship title for Amberg. An impressive start!

Sunday brought even more success for the Amberg athletes. Arthur Hirner, the veteran of the team, competed in age group 3 to 83 kg and pressed sensational 130 kg - that was not to be beat! Frieda Holzer was also impressive, who brought 112.5 kg to the bench in age group 2 over 84 kg and also secured the championship title. With a total of five championship titles and four international norms, the KSC 2 Amberg remains an undisputed force in bench press!
