On Saturday evening, a traffic accident occurred at the A94 motorway entrance at Winhöring, in which four people were slightly injured. According to the police, a driver from Lower Bavaria wanted to turn left to the A94 towards Munich at 8:20 p.m. He overlooked a vehicle from Töging that came towards him and drove from Altötting to Winhöring. This led to a spectacular frontal collision. The two drivers and their passengers were brought to surrounding hospitals, while the property damage is estimated at over 30,000 euros. The fire brigade Winhöring had to block the road for rescue work for a short time, but was able to quickly redirect the traffic with a half -side closure, so that no significant disorders occurred, such as Pnp.de reported.

serious accident with small van

Another incident recently occurred on the A94 near Winhöring. On March 26th at around 10.30 p.m., a Ukrainian small van with five inmates got into difficulties when the vehicle skidded after bursting a tire. The van rammed an overtaking car of a 37-year-old Romanian. After the impact, the van tipped over and stayed on the road. Follow -up accidents were created when two subsequent cars drove over parts of the debris lying around. Fortunately, all five inmates of the van suffered only minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. The fire brigade Töging and the Mößling fire brigade were on duty to secure the scene of the accident and direct the traffic. The A94 was closed to Passau for around two hours, like Innsalzach24.de reported.
