Free online lectures: Use opportunities for photovoltaics for Augsburg!

On January 8, 2025, a number of free online lectures on the framework conditions in the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) 2023 and EEG amendment 2024, also known as Solar package 1, are offered. These lectures are aimed at citizens and companies from the districts of Augsburg and Aichach-Friedberg as well as the city of Augsburg.

• 22. January 2025, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.: Focus on photovoltaic systems over 40 kWp
• 29. January 2025, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.: Focus on open space PV and AGRI-PV over 100 kWp

The first lecture deals with the system sizes of over 40 kWp up to 1 MWP/750 KWP and explains both opportunities and limits. The second part of the lecture addresses large PV building systems over 1 MWP/750 kWP and the conditions for tenders. The role of storage to avoid discount loss is particularly emphasized. In addition, various PPA options (Power Purchase Agreements) for systems from 5 MWP are presented.

advantages of the new EEGS

The EEG 2023 and the Solar package 1 of 2024 have various advantages for photovoltaic systems from 40 kWp. In particular, the increase in remuneration rates for electricity feeding makes full feed -in more attractive. In addition, the plant splitting enables the application to apply for two separate remuneration rates for two systems on one roof.

according to bundesnetzagentur.de The funding rates for solar systems according to the EEG are depending on the time of commissioning and installed performance. For systems up to 100 kW, there are both fair partial feed and increased full feed-ups. From August 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025, the following remuneration rates apply:

• partial feed: 10.68 ct/kWh (up to 10 kW), 6.46 ct/kWh (up to 100 kW)
• full feed: 12.73 ct/kwh (up to 10 kW), 6.46 ct/kwh (up to 100 kW)
• A feed -in tariff of 6.46 ct/kWh (up to 100 kW).

The registrations for the online lectures are required because the places are limited. Participants need a PC or notebook with a stable internet connection and it is recommended to use a headset for better audio quality.
