The former pub "Kurz Theke" in the upper sackgasse 1 has closed its doors and is now desperately looking for new tenants. Previously, the "Bowls and more" was found there, but since December 2022 the "short counter" should become a new PR highlight. But luck failed to do: The host could not build up the beer bar properly and regrets this step, because, he says, Waiblingen has only a few "iconic" pubs.

The operators are now focusing on another project - the snack bar "Papa’s Falafel" in Langen Strasse. Thus, the former bar remains unused for the time being. The fate of the "short counter" is swinging over city life: more and more alternative restaurateurs are looking for a vision to bring new concepts into these empty rooms.
