In the heart of Villingen-Schwenningen it will be really round next Sunday! Under the exciting motto "Now it's going round", visitors to the Franciscan Museum awaits a day full of surprises and creative activities. From round museum objects to exciting workshops - there is something for everyone here! Children can look forward to a nostalgic carousel on Osianderplatz, while a colorful festival program is waiting for them in the cultural center. It starts at 1 p.m.: The children's and youth circus under the direction of Georg Thomas will present his skills in the concert hall!

In the afternoon it will be even more instructive! Two exciting lectures take place in the choir room of the concert hall. At 3 p.m. Vivien Schiefer from the Landesmuseum Württemberg takes visitors on a trip to the history of the Villinger coins with their lecture "The Rubel does not roll, the penny is not!" And at 4 p.m. Peter Graßmann illuminates the fascinating development of the form of the earth in the history of science in his lecture "From the disc to the ball".

Musically, the festival will be accompanied by Ensembles from the music academy from 2 p.m., which, with salon music and singing, create a good atmosphere in the foyer of the Franciscan Museum. The physical well -being is also taken care of: the café in the Franziskaner and the Freundeskreis municipal museums offer delicious dishes and drinks. There is also an exciting program for the whole family with city tours, orchestrion demonstrations, Clown Ferdinand and a raffle! And as if that weren't enough, there is a Sunday open in the Villingen district at the same time. A day full of fun and entertainment awaits visitors!
