B 465 between Ehingen and Münsingen: closure and diversion from October 7th
From October 7th, the B 465 between Ehingen and Münsingen will be completely closed for three to four weeks. The regional council of Tübingen announced that the road cover at the Müningen-Bremelau bypass will be renewed. The affected section extends over approximately 4.6 kilometers and also includes the junction of the K 6753 near Bremelau.
The need for this extensive construction work results from the condition recording and evaluation of the road surface. The results showed that the current road surface, which has been used since the road has been used in July 2004, has cracks, suppression and other damage. In order to avoid more serious impairments on the layers underneath, a renewal of the top layer, also called wear layer, was decided.
diversions for traffic
Extensive diversions are set up for the duration of the block. For trucks, a large -scale diversion from Bad Urach via the B 28 to Blaubeuren and via the B 492 to Ehingen is recommended. Car drivers can navigate from Münsingen via the L 230 to Magolsheim and then via the L 240 to Schelklingen and finally via the B 492 to Ehingen. For the onward journey from Hundersingen, the route is headed via the Lautertal to Indelhausen and via Granheim to the B 465. The diversions in the opposite direction are vice versa. Buses of lines 331 and 7662 will start the stops according to the regular timetables.
The total costs for the renewal of the road surface amount to around 700,000 euros, which are borne by the federal government. The regional council clearly states that the renewal measures are necessary at regular intervals to ensure traffic safety and the durability of the street.
