The head coach, who last had to pause because of a cold, led a lively training session with 21 players on Wednesday morning. With his characteristic black wool hat, he was in the middle of the action and ensured that the non-national players also sweat a lot.
While the other players worked with ball, Deniz Undav, who had suffered a thigh injury in the Champions League game against Atalanta Bergamo, was alone. Another injured player, Dan-Axel Zagadou, had to leave the clubhouse with crutches-his return to training will be delayed after his second knee injury of the year.
