Stuttgart relies on heat pumps: Record number of applications in winter!

Stuttgart records an increase in applications for grants for heat pumps, especially in November and December 2024. According to a report of the City of Stuttgart , heat pumps relate about 75 % of the heating energy from the environment, which makes you an efficient solution for highly thickened cities.

The funded measures include the purchase of the heat pump, the development of the heat source and the adaptation of the heat distribution. The amount of the funding is staggered as follows:

• Funding level III (> 40 - 50 kW): 5,000 €

In addition, there are subsidies of € 5,000 per probe or earth collector when using geothermal energy and 20 % of gross investment costs when using waste heat or waste water. If you switch to underfloor heating or other surface heaters, you can receive a flat -rate grant of € 500 per separate, heated room. A combination of the heat pump program with federal funding programs is also possible, but not with urban energy -saving programs in the area of ​​complete renovation.

With these measures, Stuttgart pursues the goal of promoting the use of renewable energies and actively shaping the energy transition.
