Stuttgart in second place: The city of start-ups and quality of life!

Stuttgart catapulted itself to the sensational second place in the city client in the city clerk in the latest edition of the "Wirtschaftswoche"! Compared to the previous year, the state capital has risen a level and impressively shows that they play at the forefront in the areas of labor market, economic development, quality of life, real estate market and sustainability. The top position in the partial category is particularly outstanding, where Stuttgart takes first place. The city can also be seen in the area of living with a strong third place!

But that's not all! Stuttgart has also blossomed into the start-up capital of Germany and is leaving big cities like Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich. With around 300 start-ups, the city has developed into an impressive founding location. And also with the Smart City Index 2024 of the Bitkom digital association, Stuttgart has made a remarkable jump and now occupies seventh place among 82 large cities!

Mayor Nopper expressed himself optimistically: "These reviews give rise to optimism, which must be a lightwacher optimism in difficult times." The ranking, which is created by "Wirtschaftswoche", "ImmobilienScout24" and IW Consult, is considered the most detailed municipal performance comparison in Germany and evaluates all 72 circular cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants. Stuttgart impressively shows that it is on the right track!
