Albanians with 12 kg cocaine snapped on Tyrolean motorway - public prosecutor's office is determined!
A spectacular incident recently occurred on the Tyrolean burner motorway (A13) when a 36-year-old Albanian was stopped with twelve kilograms of cocaine. The drugs, packaged in packages and a street sales value of incredible 1.2 million euros, were discovered during a check in the body of his vehicle. This marks the largest cocaine security that has previously been carried out in the state of Tyrol. State police director Helmut Tomac informed that the man's vehicle who lives in Italy and was traveling with a German license was checked due to suspicious criteria. The man had caught up with his travel destination and purpose, which ultimately led to the suspicion that it could be a "smuggling trip", as Harald Baumgartner, head of the foreign and border police department, said. The Albanian is now in custody and has so far been little cooperative.
In the meantime, the Albanian community celebrated its national holiday on November 28th worldwide, which was not unnoticed in Stuttgart. Around 250 vehicles took part in an impressive car wiring through the city center, which lasted more than three hours. This corso, with numerous cars decorated with Albanian flags, attracted the interest of many passers -by and ensured traffic disabilities. The occasion was the explanation of Albania's independence in 1912 when the red flag was first hoisted with the black double head eagle. The day is of great symbolic importance for the Albanians worldwide, since it not only commemorates independence, but also of historical personalities such as Gjergj Kastrioti who raised the Albanian flag in the Castle of Kruja.hidden connections
The events in Tyrol and Stuttgart could indicate a deeper connection between the Albanian community and the topic of drug crime. While the car train pulled through Stuttgart full of joy and national pride, the current developments in Tyrol show a different darkness. The fact that an Albanian is suspected of smuggling a considerable amount of drugs could reflect potential dark side of this assembled community. The investigation is only at the beginning, and it remains to be seen whether further entanglements or a larger network are uncovered.
