A triumph for Kempo Karate Sigmaringen! On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Karateka experienced a sensational debut at their first tournament, the 16th Roba monastery cup in Maulbronn. Of the eight -launched athletes, everyone reached a placement and made the team colors proud!
Sensational: Maximilian Schmitz and Robert Glaßmann shone as a radiant first place in their categories (student A beginner and Ü35/Ü45 beginners)! But that was the beginning of the success! Five Karatekas secured second place: Gina Möckl, Charlotte Schmitz, Raphael Eschler, Gabriel Eschler and Jasmin Glaßmann - the heroes of the afternoon! Michael Schenk fought third place and completed the impressive result of the Sigmaringer at a climax.

Always at your side: Thomas Merten, who has taken over the cumit training since September. It was he who gave the team the necessary support during the fight. "The coach's heart is happy," he announced enthusiastically after the victories. Jasmin Glaßmann also praised him: "Without his cool head and organization during the fights, this would never have been possible!"
The 16th Roba monastery cup will go into the club's history as an unforgettable event. Kempo Karate Sigmaringen has impressively demonstrated that they can fight at the top - a sign that makes the region list! It is to be hoped that we will hear a lot more from this dynamic team!
