New yearbook 2025: Stories and price increase in the Black Forest Baar district!

Donaueschingen, Deutschland - The new district yearbook for 2025 was presented in the district office-a real shop window of the Black Forest Baar district! With a price of 24 euros, the new issue is four euros more expensive than before, which attributes Wilfried Dold from Doldverlag to increased raw material, wage and energy costs. Despite the digital revolution, District Administrator Sven Hinterssehen is convinced: "Even after almost 50 years, the book continues to hire the nerve of the time."

Readers love the haptic experience of a printed book, and this is shown in the stable edition of 4500 copies that is regularly sold out. On 304 pages, authors and photographers present exciting stories about the region and its people. At the book presentation, the young farmer Anna Klausmann, who adorns the cover picture, told about her life on a farm over 500 years old - a life full of hard work and passion!

diverse topics and exciting insights

The Almanach also illuminates the changes in the weather in the past 45 years, documented by Bernward Janzing from Furtwangen. His records show a decline in frosty nights and less snow. In addition, the Kübler Group is presented, a company that has grown from a small basement to an international group and is now a leader in sensors.

The yearbook is not only informative, but also entertaining! It contains portraits of local personalities, including the bread sommelier Robert Schorp and the rock band Brillos. The sport is not neglected either: contributions about the soccer player Kai Brünker and tennis player Dominik Koepfer, who has his roots in Villingen-Schwenningen, round off the offer. The Almanach is now available in bookstores, the district office and the Doldverlag-a must for everyone who loves the Black Forest Baar district!
