Rottweil, Deutschland - Rottweil shines in a festive shine! From December 5th to 15th, the oldest city of Baden-Württemberg will be transformed into a true winter wonderland. The Christmas market, organized by the commercial and trade association (GHV) and the city of Rottweil, invites locals and visitors to immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere. Mayor Christian Ruf will make the opening ceremony on December 5th at 5 p.m.

The pedestrian zone, adorned with magnificent bend houses, offers the perfect backdrop for an atmospheric stroll. At lovingly decorated stands, guests can expect a variety of handicrafts, Christmas decoration and delicious delicacies. From handmade woodwork to regional specialties such as bratwurst and Schupfnudeln - there is something for every palate! The legendary marine punch is particularly popular, the proceeds of which benefit charitable purposes.

a festival for the whole family

The Christmas market is not only a highlight for adults, but also for the little visitors! The children's afternoon will take place on December 11, where discounted carousel trips and special children's prices are offered in the catering huts. Wizard Christoph Frank will provide magical entertainment with his “Christmas all sorts” program. In addition, the children in the children's kitchen can bake their own Christmas cookies and take part in an exciting flashlight tour through the Black Gate.

With around 60,000 visitors in 2023, the popularity of the market is evident. Market champion Jürgen Cottre reports of great interest in the stands, so that the pedestrian zone will soon be expanded to make room for schools and clubs. The huts should stop until December 31 and continue to revitalize the city. Admission is free and the city of Rottweil is looking forward to offering all guests a contemplative and magical pre -Christmas period!
