The guests experienced a culinary highlight on Wednesday evening in the Rottweil town hall when chef Hans Joachim Burger, together with AOK nutrition expert Heidrun Zeller-Thorn and AOK managing director Harald Rettenmaier, presented an impressive cooking show! The evening was entirely devoted to the motto "sustainable" and attracted numerous visitors who wanted to be pampered by delicious, autumnal dishes from regional ingredients.

The show started with a real superstar of the autumn kitchen: the juicy pumpkin! The guests experienced a threesome from the popular fruit vegetables - inserted, braised and as crispy crackers. Fried polenta cuts shone as the main course, which harmonized perfectly with savoy cabbage, red onions and a fine white prayer sauce. In a crowning glory, a plum strudel spoiled the palate of those present with caramelized walnuts. "Plums are now particularly tasty in autumn. If you cook fresh and seasonally, you are doing something good for yourself and the environment!" Says the experienced chef burger.
