Pilgerhaus, Weinheim, Deutschland - drama in Weinheim! On Saturday afternoon, the fire brigade was called for a shocking accident at the Pilgerhaus stop. A 57-year-old man was hit by a tram and suffered serious injuries. The incident occurred around 12.30 p.m. in the Lützelsachsen district of Weinheim when the unfortunate one crossed the tracks despite the red traffic light. The tram dragged him several meters, which made the situation even more dramatic.

First aiders were quickly on hand and were able to free the man on the tram before the fire brigade arrived. The fire brigade and the emergency services immediately took over medical care. The seriously injured man was immediately taken to the hospital. But not only the victims, but also the driver of the tram suffered a shock and had to be looked after. Support came from the psychosocial emergency care of the Weinheim fire brigade and the pastoral unit of the Rhein-Neckar district.
