Beutelsbacher Kirbe: Wait five days full of fun and tradition!

The popular cherry will take place from October 10th to 14th. At this traditional festival, which is of great importance in the Rems-Murr region, visitors can look forward to a colorful program with over 100 stands. The Kirbemarkt opens on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the center of town and offers an extensive range, including household goods, flowers and handicrafts.

The hustle and bustle is rounded off by the presence of a scissor grinder. A special highlight is the hanging of the Kirbewäuen on Kirrendonner Day at 12 p.m., which serves as a solemn prelude to the event. In the next few days, especially on Friday and Saturday, the music club band "Beutelsbacher" will be sociable in the parking lot of the Beutelsbacher Halle from 6 p.m. Every ticket for the cherry party can easily be purchased online.

diverse program for young and old

Friday also offers an exciting lampion parade of elementary school students, followed by a torchy run and a rousing drum show that put the marketplace in a festive mood. From 6 p.m., guests in the town hall foyer can honor the Kirbejubilare. The tradition of the meeting in the singer home will continue on Saturday, the cherry evening.

The Kirbesonnag is all about community and celebrations. An ecumenical service in the collegiate church is held at 10 a.m. The subsequent morning pint on Vollmarplatz is accompanied by happy children's program, including a carousel and a balloon artist. The shops in Endersbach and Beutelsbach open their doors for a Sunday open for sales, where visitors can stroll through the streets and enjoy the special offers.

An indispensable event is the historical ceremony on Sunday at 1.30 p.m. on the market square. Mayor Michael Scharmann as well as the wine town of wine queen and a wine princess will be present here to give the Kirbe a worthy framework. Finally, on Monday at 6 p.m. there will be a sociable get -together in the Remstalkellerei with musical entertainment.

The development of the Kirbe vines over time is particularly noteworthy. Twenty years ago, fear was still confronted with fear that tradition could end because only a few participants were ready to actively participate. Today, the Cherre years are very popular again, and the so -called green cherry year regularly counts around 20 participants who continue tradition with a lot of joy and commitment. The so -called "Rätschen", in which the scraper and the Gaudi are not neglected, is still a firm need.

The Beutelsbacher Kirbe thus shows how tradition and community continue to play an important role in the life of the citizens. Whether young or old, everyone is cordially invited to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere and to experience the special moments that distinguish the Kirbefest.
