Stress-free to the Upper Swabia Show: Use Park & Ride and Kombi ticket!
The Upper Swabia Show in Ravensburg is just around the corner, and the Ravensburger Veranstungsgesellschaft (RVG) expects about 70,000 guests between October 16 and 20. In order to enable visitors to travel without stress, the RVG recommends using public transport. Alternatively, there are park-and-ride parking spaces (P&R) that are free. These are ideal for everyone who wants to travel by car, and everything you have to do is to switch to the trade fair shuttle that drives directly in front of the exhibition center.
The "Kombi ticket", which has been available since 2023, also simplifies the journey. If you buy this ticket online in advance, you will not only get admission to the fair, but also the arrival and departure through the entire Bodo transport association. This extends over a large region that includes Leutkirch, Isny and Oberstaufen. Families and individuals are also well looked after and can easily reach the fair.
Train journey from all directions
The journey by train is simple and comfortable. From the north, for example from Ulm or Laupheim, two trains run every hour, while south, from Friedrichshafen, even three times a hour. There is also a direct bus connection to Ravensburg from Bad Saulgau. For those who arrive from the Allgäu, numerous connections by train and bus are available, many regional buses have the destination in Ravensburg, so that the fair can be reached on foot or by bus.
In addition, the RVG informed that with a Bodo ticket you can also use the city traffic buses without any additional costs, which further simplifies the journey. The proximity of the train station to the fair is another advantage, because you can reach the fair in a few minutes or let yourself be driven with one of the regular buses.
A central element of the fair search is the use of the park-and-ride parking spaces that have been strategically selected. The RVG has set up four large P&R systems for this: Festplatz Weingarten, Flappachbad, Weißenau and Blue House. At the weekend there is also the Rechenwies parking lot, which is put into operation. Message chief Stephan Drescher encourages visitors: "My advice is always: Park and Ride. No traffic jam, no search for a parking space, no stress."
