New University Council of the Pforzheim University: Fresh wind for education!
Pforzheim, Deutschland - A new university council for the Pforzheim University came into office on November 12, 2024! In an exciting session, the body, one of the most important organs of the university, was re -elected. The Council consists of seven members, including four external and three internal representatives. Among the new are prominent personalities such as Kerstin Klär, CEO of the Q i agency for research, and Stefan Lippert, Managing Director of the Up Design Studio. Also Professor Dr. Elke Theobald and Professor Dr. Rebecca Bulander from the faculties for economy and technology are now part of the committee.
re -election and new faces
Stephan Scholl was again elected chairman and is supported by Professor Bulander. Scholl was pleased with the trust that was shown to him: "Together we will strengthen the profile formation and competitiveness of the university and further expand its role as a leading institution for education and research." The rector, Professor Dr. Ulrich Jautz, sees great potential in working with the new university council. He emphasizes the importance of the committee as an impulse provider for the strategic orientation of the university.
The university council has a decisive supervisory board function and is responsible for strategic decisions that shape the future of the university. This includes the approval of the structure and development plan as well as advising the central organs rectorate and Senate. With this new composition, the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences is ready to implement its visions and position itself as a leading educational institution.
