Freudenreich received the prize for her innovative work on the “development of a process concept for the qualitative analysis of user behavior in A/B tests in B2C and B2B-E-Commerce”.

The jury, led by Robert K. Bidmon, was enthusiastic about the scientific depth and the sophisticated methods of the submitted work. "This time the work is more scientifically more sophisticated," praised Bidmon. Freudenreich explained that their research complements the existing A/B testing method with qualitative examinations by the user Experience (UX). This is particularly important if quantitative data does not provide significant results. Your findings are based on tests with twelve subjects and show that qualitative analyzes can offer crucial added value.
