Fool's time in the knight's house: Anniversary exhibition on Fasnet attracts visitors!

In the museum in the Ritterhaus Offenburg, an extraordinary leadership will take place on Thursday, November 7th, 2024 at 7 p.m. - and that on a very special occasion! The "Fool's Time" work show celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Schwäbisch Alemannic Fool's guild (VSAN). This eventful journey through time takes a look at the turbulent history of the First World War and the Fasnets bans between 1919 and 1924, which shaped the foundation of the VSAN and its development.

The anniversary exhibition "Fool's time. Cultural Heritage Fastnacht in Change" is presented as one of four important locations in Offenburg, because the city was proud to be one of the founding members of the VSAN. Visitors can look forward to an exciting local special part, which presents the "Zunft-Landschaft Schwarzwald" and their guilds in all their diversity. Entry to the tour costs only 4 euros!
