Cheerful annual concert: Men's singing club Windschläg enthusiastic audience

A musical fireworks of the extra class experienced the audience at the annual concert of the men's singing club Windschläg on Saturday! The event, which took place in the festively decorated sports hall of the TuS Windschläg, offered a varied program with cheerful melodies and impressive guests. The singing club Liederkranz Fessenbach and the talented singer Stefanie Dörfler, accompanied by Bertram Birk am Piano, caused unforgettable moments. Moderator Rupert Glatt got to the point: "Singing the dust off the soul" - and that was exactly what happened!

conductor Viktor Asberger led the audience through a program that started with four songs by Carl Kromer. With titles such as "Greetings to your home" and the Swabian performance "Mer sitting under the apples", the atmosphere was heated from the start. The second part of the concert kidnapped those present with emotional sounds such as "evening silence in the mountains" and "Siyahamba" into another world. The addition "Heaven is a Wonderful Place" rounded off the evening perfectly and made the hearts beat faster.

The singing club Liederkranz Fessenbach, who celebrated its 150th anniversary, appeared under the direction of Rie Seibert and delighted with a cheerful dialogue between men's and female voices. With "Un Poquito Samba" they sparked a rhythmic fireworks that the audience has. Stefanie Dörfler enchanted those present with their soulful interpretations of well -known hits such as "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "Send in the Clowns". Her voice, supported by Bertram Birk, left a lasting impression.

The chairman Reinhold Goos welcomed numerous guests, including Durbach's Mayor Andreas König and Windschläg's new mayor Martin Ockenfuß, who called for active membership in the men's choir. Mayor Marco Steffens, who was present despite a full schedule, praised the men's singing club far beyond the Ortenau for its excellent reputation. The event ended with a traditional common song, the "Bajazzo", and an outlook on future concerts - "after the concert before the concert" - a motto that awakens the anticipation for the next musical highlights!
