Nikolaus-Zug drives again: gifts and music in the Albtal and Murgtal!

The Nikolaus train of the steam nostalgia Karlsruhe is back and brings a festive atmosphere to the Albtal and Murgtal! From November 30th to December 8th, small and large passengers can go on a magical journey with the historical steam locomotive.

On Saturday, November 30th, the Nikolaus train starts at 9:30 a.m. from Karlsruhe Central Station into the Albtal, where Brave children are surprised with a gift from Santa Claus. In Bad Herrenalb, travelers can expect a wind trio that creates a festive atmosphere with Christmas melodies. The return trip takes place at 12:03 p.m., with another departure at 2:30 p.m., which ends at 5:02 p.m. in Karlsruhe. The tickets cost 33 euros for adults and 33 euros for children from two to 14 years, including a gift. Children under the age of two pay only 15 euros.

trips to the Murgtal and Albtal

on Sunday, December 1st, we go from Rastatt to the Murgtal. Here, too, the little passengers can look forward to a gift from Santa Claus! The first departure is at 10 a.m., with arrival in Forbach at 12:17 p.m. and return at 1:05 p.m. The second trip starts at 2 p.m. and brings the guests back to Rastatt at 5:05 p.m. The return trip costs 30 euros, with the same prices for children as in the Albtal.

In addition, the Nikolaus train drives on December 7th and 8th from Ettlingen city into the Albtal. Here, too, there are gifts and musical entertainment through a wind trio in Bad Herrenalb. The departures are at 10:38 a.m. and 2:38 p.m., with return at 12:49 p.m. and 4:49 p.m. Tickets also cost 30 euros for the return trip, while children under two years pay 15 euros.
