New Christmas market Wetzakiki in Hofstätten inspires young and old!

A new chapter in the Styrian Christmas market Tradition was opened on December 7th and 8th in the Hofstätten community center on the Raab with the Christmas market "Wetzakiki". Around 40 exhibitors offered handmade gifts, regional delicacies and decorative objects that created a festive atmosphere. This market became an unforgettable experience not only through the variety of products and stands, including waffles and spread breads, but also through the lovingly designed supporting program, which particularly appealed to families with children. Santa Claus and the Christ child handed over gifts, while numerous creative activities such as pony rides and Christmas fairy tales provided additional pleasure. The association "Diversity - The Art Association", which is responsible for the organization of the market, is already planning the next dates on December 21st and 22nd, and the anticipation for this event is great, like MeinDien

Karlsruhe becomes the Christmas city

Meanwhile, the Christkindlesmarkt in Karlsruhe was opened on Monday, which transformed the city center into a festive sea of lights. Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup emphasized the joint effort behind this transformation and praised the "wonderful atmosphere" that attracts visitors from near and far. With a total of 54 artisans and numerous attractions from mulled wine pyramid to a 40 -meter -high ferris wheel, it can be seen that the Christmas city is beaming far beyond the regional borders. Children can play in the fairytale land at the St. Stephan church and have fun on the ice skating railways in the castle forecourt. This year, however, visitors have to do without a stage program for volunteer musicians due to new GEMA tariffs. The city hopes for an early solution to continue the tradition of live music in future markets, so karlsruhe.de .
