Insolvency shock for WE-Flytour: 1500 vacationers in Turkey affected!

A young travel company is on the abyss! WE-Flytour, specializing in trips to Turkey, has to register bankruptcy. The reason? A sudden withdrawal of the payment service provider frozen from Munich has overthrew the company into massive difficulties. Nach zwei Monaten ohne die Möglichkeit, Restzahlungen einzuziehen, ist die Liquidität auf der Strecke geblieben, und Vertriebspartner haben das Handtuch geworfen. A dramatic setback for the company that only started in September 2023!

The consequences are devastating: around 1,500 travelers who are currently in popular holiday destinations such as Turkey and Egypt are affected. WE-Flytour has canceled all the trips that should begin up to and including November 26th. But there is hope! Thanks to the EU flat-rate guideline, the booking packages booked are secured via the German travel security fund (DRSF). This means that the vacationers can get home safely or continue their stay.

Support for those affected by travelers

For travelers whose trips have been canceled, there is also support. The DRSF takes care of the reimbursement of the payments made and will contact those affected as soon as all return actions have been completed. The emergency numbers for travelers in Turkey are +90 (0) 533 653 35 38 and +90 (0) 533 91 53. The number +49 (0) 69 9588 4076 is available for other target areas. In the event of general questions about the bankruptcy of WE-Flytour, interested parties can contact the hotline +49 (0) 30 25 89 87 253
