New President Roell demands strong support for the economy!

A new star in the economic sky: Jan Stefan Roell takes over the scepter at the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWIHK)! The former Vice President succeeds Christian Erbe and will direct the fate of the association for the next two years. Roell, who also heads the IHK Ulm, faces huge challenges that affect the country's economy.

"The Situation is serious!" Warns Roell and demands massive political support for the companies in Baden-Württemberg. The alarming economic developments make a comprehensive action plan essential to stop the emigration and relocation of companies. "All democratic parties now have to present concepts!" He calls up and emphasizes that stable political conditions are decisive for the implementation of these plans. Roell also requires a reduction in bureaucracy and lower energy prices to help the company.

A strong team on Roell's page

On the board of the BWIHK, Roell is supported by experienced colleagues. Thomas Conrady, President of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee, and Claus Paal, President of the IHK Region Stuttgart, were confirmed in their offices. Manfred Schnabel, President of the IHK Rhein-Neckar, is new on the board. Together they will represent the interests of over 650,000 member companies and work for a strong economy in Baden-Württemberg.

the BWIHK, an association of the twelve Baden-Württemberg Industrial and Commercial Chambers, is at the forefront of the economic advocacy in the region. With Roell at the top, a new course is taken on the challenges of time!
