A winter slump is just around the corner! Baden-Württemberg has to adjust to icy temperatures and possibly even snow. The American GFS model has made alarming predictions that could end the mild November days abruptly. Warning meteorologists: The stable high pressure position that has spoiled us so far becomes weaker, and the cold season taps the door!

"Eisig cold height air masses would flood Germany," explains the graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung von Wetter.net. For November 23, the model predicts morning temperatures of frosty minus 4 degrees in parts of Baden-Württemberg. At altitudes, such as the Black Forest and the Swabian Alb, the values could even drop up to minus 9 degrees! That sounds after a winter dream for all snow lovers, but Jung warns: This prediction should still be enjoyed with caution, because until then the weather can still change drastically.

At the weekend it could even get up to 17 degrees warm before the temperatures drop to 13 to 15 degrees from Monday, November 11th.
