Under the direction of visionary Iván Pérez, life and art by the legendary artist Jackson Pollock will be brought to life in a breathtaking, multidisciplinary performance. The innovative format "Intropollock" offers a unique way to get in the mood for the evening. Spectators can immerse yourself 30 minutes before the start of the performance and experience the atmosphere of art and dance before taking a seat in the Marguerre Hall. This creative connection between the introduction and performance promises an unforgettable experience that takes the audience into the fascinating world of dance.
The impressive production is supported by a talented team: Junyoung Kim has taken over the musical direction, while the composition of Yamila Rios comes. Andrew Digby ensures the music arrangement, and the stage design of Sam Deflik and the expressive costumes by Naomi Kean create a visual splendor that captivates the audience. The ensemble is supported by the Philharmonic Orchestra Heidelberg, which reinforces the emotional depth of performance.
The premiere takes place on November 24th, followed by several performances until June 22, 2025.
