Heidelberg meets Frankfurt: Pure excitement in the basketball cracker!
The MLP Academics Heidelberg are facing a tingling duel! On Saturday, October 26th, the promoters from the Skyliners in Frankfurt will take place at 6:30 p.m. A game full of excitement that arouses memories-whether as a glorious home game winner or as a well-known guest in an opposing hall! Fans of the Academics will be able to enjoy this live event at Dyn to the fullest!
The Skyliners put a remarkable start in their first season in the highest league. With two away wins and two home defeats, they rank in the 10th place in the BBL table. A great success was the cup triumph over Oldenburg and the previous victory against Trier - now you are just a win from the quarter -finals! They go into the game against Heidelberg, especially after a strong victory against Vechta, led by the outstanding Malik Parsons with 30 points!
in the traces of the superstars
The team builds on the players of last season, including Booker Coplin and David Muenkat, supplemented by strong new additions such as Garai Zeeb. With Parsons, which is currently leading the league with 19.8 points, and Trey Calvin have an impressive Guard duo. Your 40% hit rate for three-point throws is outstanding, while your aggressive defense is one of the best in the league-the Academics have already been able to experience this at the Heidelberg Basketball Cup in August!
In the headquarters, Ed Croswell supports the team, but the center is currently missing for personal reasons. Particularly interesting: Einara's tubutis could be used on Saturday after the failure of Lorenz Brenneke and Kamaka Hepa. The Academics will therefore increase the pressure on Frankfurt with a strong squad and almost 100 fans who traveled with them! Co-coach Carlo Finetti remains attentive: "We know the strength of Frankfurt and are ready to defensively take the right steps to win the upper hand!" A hot fight is imminent!
