Eintracht Frankfurt is ready to attack the top this season! Ansgar Knauff, the young star of the team, made his ambitions clear in an exclusive interview. At a promotion event by Under Armor in downtown Frankfurt, hundreds of fans flocked to get autographs and selfies with Knauff and his colleague Laura Freiang. "It's a cool brand and a good partner for me," enthused Knauff about the sports brand, which accompanies him on both the square and in everyday life.

The 22-year-old, who has been playing at Eintracht Frankfurt since January 2022, quickly established himself as one of the top performers. "It was a special time," recalls Knauff of his beginnings when he became a European League hero. Despite the previous successes in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Cup, Knauff is hungry for more: "We want to be successful in all competitions. We want to take this swing with us." With 17 out of 27 possible points in the league and moving into the round of 16 of the DFB Cup, Eintracht is on the right track, but the challenge remains great, especially against the Champions League master guest Borussia Dortmund.

"We can definitely leave the BVB behind us", Knauff is optimistic. The offensive player emphasizes the strength of the team: "We have a very good team and a broad squad." With 106 competitive games and 24 goal participations in his career at the Hesse, Knauff is on a promising path. He continues to develop under coach Dino Toppmöller and has already collected four scorer points this season. "It is of course a dream to be able to appear for the A-national team," says Knauff, who wants to recommend itself with strong performance for higher tasks.
