Fragrant cathedral soap: a Christmas present from Speyer!
The cathedral building association has presented a very special product that makes the hearts of Speyer and visitors beat faster at Christmas time: the exclusive cathedral soap! This handmade soap is made in the oldest soap factory in Germany, clearly soap in Heidelberg, according to the traditional recipe and even contains red cathedral sandstone. A real eye -catcher is the stamped lettering "Dom zu Speyer" and the logo of the cathedral building association, which makes the soap a unique souvenir.

The soap is not only an optical highlight, but also a festival for the senses! It is palm oil -free and does not contain animal products, which makes it particularly environmentally friendly. The base consists of high-quality olive oil from Greece, and the bewitching fragrance comes from Rosenweihluch and a noble Pinot Noir perfume oil from the famous perfume city of Grasse in France. Barbara Schmidt-Nechl, member of the board and part of the creative team, enthuses: "It is a nice, fragrant advertising medium for the cathedral."
The cathedral soap comes in an artistically designed cuff, creates by the Speyer artist Gerdi König. The soap is available for only 8.50 euros in the Dom-Info and in various shops in Speyer, including Pfälzer Heimat, Anna’s Land Party, Historical Museum, Einhorn Pharmacy and Osiander bookstore. A special highlight: On November 23, the soap will also be offered at the weekly market. An ideal gift for the upcoming holidays!
