HSG Friedrichshafen-Fischbach celebrates clear 36:22 home win against Ulm-Wiblingen

A furious home win for HSG Friedrichshafen-Fischbach! On Sunday, the Häfler handball players swept across the SG Ulm-Wiblingen with an impressive 36:22. From the beginning it was clear: the Blisshards cannot be stopped! The guests from Ulm-Wiblingen hardly had anything to oppose, and for a simple reason-only two players from last year's squad were still in the team. Trainer Andreas Schiele confirmed that the team has to find themselves.

The Ulm performed with a completely new face, and that had fatal consequences. The new trainer Manuel Jäger could not prevent his protégés from acting too carefree right from the start. They were regularly late in the defense, while the offensive lacked any punch. The HSG, on the other hand, punished every little mistake by the guests and already led 17: 6 at half -time. Keeper David Pietsch had a relaxing afternoon because the defensive of the Häfler worked excellently.

Häfler Defense as a key to success

"The compact defense was the basic prerequisite for this clear leadership for the break," said HSG coach Andreas Rohrbeck. Despite the clear advantage, the HSG decreased something in the second round that Ulm-Wiblingen showed in the last minutes of the game with four goals in a row. But the victory was never in danger, and the HSG celebrated the third victory of the day after the women's teams were also successful. Next Saturday, the men want to add up to promoted TSV Lindau. The game starts at 8 p.m. in the Lake Constance Hall.

For HSG Friedrichshafen-Fischbach played: Pietsch, Rueß (both gate); Jörger (6 goals, 2 seven meters/2 goals), Rebstein (6, 4/4), Fischinger (5, 1/1), Dreher (4), Leichtle (3), Braunmiller (3), Ksobiak (2), Westerholt (2), Müller (2), Mohr (1), Pentzlin.
