Experience the Middle Ages: workshops and tours for curious children!

In January 2025, the School Museum Friedrichshafen organizes an exciting program for children that focuses on the life of children in the Middle Ages. There are two main events for interested parties that the curator Susanne Appl is headed.

The first event is a curator who begins on Tuesday, January 14th, at 5 p.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. As part of this tour, the content of the exhibition "Romantic, Magical, Dark, Children and the Middle Ages" is presented. The aim of the event is to show the life of children in the Middle Ages in a vivid way. Registration takes place by email or by telephone, the entry is included in the price, such as Wochenblatt-news.de reported.

In addition, a workshop for children will take place on Saturday, January 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., which is entitled "Adventure Middle Ages". This workshop is aimed at children aged 8 and over and includes exploring the exhibition and tinkering medieval objects. The workshop is offered in cooperation with VHS Friedrichshafen and is free of charge. Registrations are also possible by email or by phone.

Several events in the school museum are still planned for the further January, such as the after -work tour for the day of the manuscript on Thursday, January 23, as well as a leadership tour with the topic "School under the swastika" on Saturday, January 25th. For adults there is also a costume reading on Tuesday, January 28th.
