Flash controls on B294: 16 racers snapped - top speed 164 km/h!

Simmersfeld, Deutschland - Simmersfeld (ots) - on the federal road 294, partly rapidly driven on Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Freudenstadt traffic service exposed intensive speed controls and put 16 drivers on the dock during this period. An incredible result when you consider that 11 drivers and 5 truck drivers of 324 have exceeded the permissible speed. The idea remains stunned that a car was on the road with an extreme speed of 164 km/h - only speed 100 is allowed on this route!

But the truck drivers were in a hurry: While the permitted top speed for them is 60 km/h, a giant was registered with 70 km/h. The consequences for the frenzy are enormous! A car driver will have to expect a drastic sanction-a driving ban is in the room, which significantly limits freedom on the streets. The police leave no doubt that such speed violations can have serious consequences, because excessive speed remains one of the main causes for serious traffic accidents with personal injury.
