New President for Baden-Württemberg's fire brigade: Michael Wegel takes over!

Sinsheim, Deutschland - Sinsheim-Win-Win for the Baden-Württemberg fire brigade scene: On October 19, 2024, Michael Wegel from Achern was elected as the new president of the Baden-Württemberg State Fire Brigade Association. Knödler emphasized that the population protection had to be freed from its "Sleeping Beauty" and found that worries about possible nationwide contamination by dangerous substances, a long -term failure of supply networks and an increased terrorist suspicion urgently should be treated.

"We need substantial improvements in planning, staffing and the financial framework," Knödler appealed, whereby he discussed the need to take into account the recommendations of the Enquete Commission for coping with crisis. The draft law for the new state disaster protection law has disappeared since summer 2023 in the "nowhere", which is concerned.
