The real hero-arena in Freiburg, known for its ailing structure, could not offer the best conditions. Huskies striker Hans Detsch warns: "The hall there is special." In the last games, Detsch even helped out as a defender because the regular defenders are injured. However, the huskies must not be impressed by the old arena; Freiburg started the season strongly and will not be an easy opponent.

Freiburg's team recently undergone a drastic upheaval. After the weak start of the season, the team experienced the first change of coach in this DEL2 season. Mikhail Nemirovsky, an experienced coach, now has to lead the wolves into the playoffs.
