A festival for medieval fans! In Germany, the Christmas markets sprout, which combine the flair of past times with a festive atmosphere. Surrounded by Gauklern and Spielleuten, visitors can feast and enjoy between Santa Clauses and Santa Clauses. Esslingen Medieval Market: A Highlight
The Esslingen Middle Ages and Christmas market is the largest of its kind in Baden-Württemberg! 180 market stalls present themselves on two adjacent areas, which offer a cultural program with over 500 events. From music and dance to acrobatics and fire magic - every visitor is amazed here. The market is open from November 26 to December 22nd, and artisans will get their money's worth on the Advent weekends.
Medieval markets in Durlach and Pforzheim
in Durlach, in front of the impressive Karlsburg, will take place from November 27th to December 22nd. Here visitors can immerse themselves between fire baskets and jugs. The supporting program offers exciting show fights and a fire show. In Pforzheim, too, a historical market in the Blumenhof will be held from December 25th to 30th, where craftsmen present their artisans and kidnap visitors into a long past time.
And that's not all! The Bachritterburg Kanzach opens its gates for a special Advent market on the first weekend in Advent, while Hohenzollern Castle impresses with a royal winter magic from November 22nd to January 6th. These markets are a must for everyone who loves the Middle Ages and the festive Christmas time!
