Oberderdingen, Deutschland - Oberderdingen experienced a real donation frenzy! After the sensational clothing and toy bazaar in September, the organizer Sabrina Öhler presented a proud 930 euros to kindergarten at Lindenplatz. Among those present were Mayor Thomas Nowitzki, the kindergarten manager Bettina Gaebel and the parents' advisory board Veronica Schmidt, who were all enthusiastic about the great initiative.

"The clothing and toy bazaar is a good and important event in the city," emphasized Nowitzki. These events not only offer a platform for families with a limited budget to get high-quality second-hand goods, but also promote the community spirit. The entire proceeds flow 100 percent into the day care centers in Oberderdingen and thus support the children.

The event was a complete success! Clothing, prams, toys, scooters and bicycles were sold at 64 tables. The parents, grandparents and neighbors of the kindergarten conjured up 43 cakes and tarts, while the Weigel bakery donated a delicious apple pie and the Thollembeek bakery. With the sale of a hundred waffles and two sheets of Baklava, the team made an additional profit of 1,177 euros. These income will be used as a reserve for the coming year to buy new toys for the children. A real gain for the entire community!
