"I go with my lantern and my lantern with me" - this popular song will soon sound through the streets, while numerous parishes invite to festive lantern parades. The anticipation for the traditional Martin celebrations is noticeable and preparations are in full swing!

On Friday, November 8th, the Bürgerverein Goldberg e.V. starts the Martinusmarkt together with ecumenism from the Goldberg. The festival begins at 5 p.m. in the Catholic Church of St. Anna with Martinssingen, followed by the St. Martin game at the Evangelical Reconciliation Church. The lantern run then leads the participants to the Berlinger Platz, where they can look forward to delicacies such as hot drinks, chestnuts and stick bread. On Saturday, November 9th, the traditional Martins ride will continue from the Trinity Church to the Martinskirche in Sindelfingen, while in Böblingen children, parents and grandparents move through the city at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, November 9th, a lantern parade will also be held on the Böblingen youth farm. At 5 p.m., the participants gather to experience the story of St. Martin together with a Martinsreiter. The physical well -being is also taken care of! On Sunday, November 12th, all children and families are invited to the Gärtringer Martin parade, which begins at the St. Michael Catholic Church at 5 p.m.

The celebrations continue on Monday, November 11th, when the Maichingen children's house and the parish of St. Anna invite you to a lantern run. At 5 p.m. in the church of St. Anna, St. Martin is commemorated, followed by a lantern parade with musical accompaniment. In Magstadt, too, a child -friendly service is celebrated in the Catholic Church in the Catholic Church to the Holy Family before the lanterns lead to the move around the church. Lantern runs are also planned in Darmsheim and Dagersheim, which end with ecumenical Martin celebrations and the sale of Martins geese. The Renninger Martinusritt on the same day also promises a special surprise: Delicious Martin geese from Quarkigig are sold and the proceeds will go to a social project for children in Ukraine.
