Fire brigade in action: Böblingen shakes three fires over Christmas!
The fire brigade in the Böblingen district moved out to a total of three fires. On Christmas Eve and on the second Christmas holiday, the places occurred in the towns of Mötzingen, Schönaich and Böblingen. In Böblingen, an apartment became uninhabitable after a kitchen fire, while a woman in Schönaich was taken to the hospital with suspicion of flue gas poisoning.
The first assignment took place in Mötzingen, where a fire broke out on Tuesday on the first floor of an apartment building. An attentive resident noticed the smoke and helped a 58-year-old woman who was alone in the affected apartment. Neighbors were able to contain the fire, which was deleted by their quick response, before the fire brigade arrived, so that other apartments were not affected. The exact property damage in Mötzingen has not yet been determined.

On the same day there was also a fire in Schönaich when a 33-year-old tried to suffocate the flames with a blanket when lighting a gas grill on a balcony. She then alerted the other residents. The fire brigade was able to quickly control the fire. The damage is estimated at around 7000 euros.
On Thursday at 5 p.m. on Thursday, a kitchen fire broke out in Böblingen when a 29-year-old prepared food and left the kitchen briefly. Oil or fat ignited in a pan. The 29-year-old and her guests then called the rescue workers and left the apartment. The fire brigade was able to delete the fire quickly, but the kitchen burned out completely, while other rooms were damaged by smoke. The apartment is uninhabitable until further notice, but other apartments in the building remained intact.
