On Tuesday, October 29, Sonett GmbH opened its doors for the Bodensee-Oberschwaben business juniors in Deggenhausertal picturesque. Under the direction of Christian Germann, the guests received fascinating insights into the world of sustainable detergents and cleaning agents. Despite the remote location, Sonett has developed into number one in the German natural food market and even supplies customers in countries such as Australia, China and the USA.

founded in 1977, Sonett has a clear mission: the protection of the water. The scientist Johannes Schnorr already recognized the harmful effects of detergent residues on the water in the 1960s and developed an innovative modular system for ecological washing. Today the company employs around 120 people and produces an impressive 800 to 1,000 tons of cleaning products every month-during the corona pandemic even twice!

Sustainability and quality in focus

Sonett relies on the highest quality standards: All ingredients are biodegradable, genetic engineering -free and without synthetic additives. The products are particularly skin -friendly and completely do without enzymes. A remarkable feature is the sustainable reusable and recycling system, in which 80 % of the returned canister is reused. In addition, Sonett uses only PE and PP for the packaging to avoid the environmental pollution from PET.

Production takes place with the latest technology and a clear focus on sustainability. In powder production, the ingredients are mixed with dust protected, while in liquid production the base water is swirls in an energetic way. Another Highlight is the Oloid mixer, which gives the products a unique quality and lets the water regenerate faster after the washing process.

Sonett not only promotes ecological values, but also social responsibility. Over 50 % of the workforce are women, and the company is actively committed to equal opportunities and the integration of people with assistance needs. Visiting the business juniors offered exciting insights into the innovative and responsible world of Sonett - a real model for sustainable production!
