First exchange day in Oberteuringen: Hundreds of things find new owners!

Oberteuringen, Deutschland - Oberteuringen - a sensational success was the first exchange of goods in the inn “Die Post”. Hundreds of objects, from books to iron, changed hands within a very short time. Tables turned under the weight of household items, decoration and toys, while visitors enthusiastically browse through the selection. "As much as you can wear yourself" was the motto, and the participants took the opportunity to exchange things that they no longer needed for new treasures. An overwhelming visitor interest was recorded at lunchtime with 300 registered guests, as Saskia Köstlinger reported from the organization team.

Visitors to Johanna Schmeh from Urnau said enthusiastically: she discovered a jump rope and creative cake shapes for her grandchildren and even did not miss a handbag and stuffing yarn. "I find this action wonderful, I've been looking for it for a long time!" She cheered and gave her former coffee machine a second chance after Rudolf Knoll checked it from the repair café. "Over half of the devices donated is hardly used and works perfectly!", Stated Knoll and added that the demand was enormous.

a festival of sustainability

The organizers received a lot of praise for their initiative. Christine Klemm, a participant, emphasized the importance of sustainability: "There is just so much garbage, most of it is too good to throw away." Elke Gögele also gave up a functioning fryer because she had bought a hot air fryer. "It is simply important that we separate from things that we do not use," she said. During the exchange, 16 helpers caused a smooth process, from the acceptance of the goods to the Kuchent counter, and the organization team is already convinced that this great event will soon take place.
