Future for Obersulmetingen: Investments for bridge and roof renovation!
Obersulmetingen, Deutschland - The city of Laupheim plans significant investments to improve the infrastructure in Obersulmetingen. The local council unanimously approved the double budget for 2025/26, which, among other things, provides for the construction of a new bridge over the crack channel and an urgently needed roof renovation of the beverage bearing. For the bridge, estimated costs of 75,000 euros for 2025 and 600,000 euros for 2026 are earmarked, while the roof renovation with a photovoltaic system is planned with 50,000 euros, such as the Schwäbische.de reported.
Not only the bridge and the roof are in focus. Another step towards modern infrastructure is the barrier -free conversion of the bus stops, which is estimated with a total of 275,000 euros. The flood protection on the Riß is also to be strengthened with planning costs of 170,000 euros. The mayor, Ingo Bergmann, emphasized the need for efficient investments in order to counter the continued challenges.
a farewell to Bergmannkiez
The changes that take place in Kreuzberg are in strong contrast to the planned measures in Laupheim. While one city is actively investing in its future, the architectural heritage of the other city is increasingly becoming a speculative mass, which threatens cultural diversity and history.
