Federsseeschau 2024: The best breeders and their champions honored!

In an exciting competition of the best small animals, the legendary Federsee show took place in the old Dohlenried in Bad Buchau on October 19 and 2024! The small animal breeding associations Z549 Federsee and Z391 Bad Schussenried/Buchau showed in an impressive exhibition what their breeders have to offer on talented animals. The animal stars faced the strict price judges and were assessed according to the exact breed -specific breeding standards. Who shot at the top?

The tension highlight was the point of time award ceremony, in which the breeders proudly presented their successes! In the rabbit category, Wolfgang Herwanger triumphed and grabbed the coveted title of the club champion. Peter Dangel in second place, followed by Georg Ehrhart, who landed in third place for his dwarf voreware chickens. The pigeon breeders also had reason to be happy - Günter Kummer won first place with his Cologne pools! In the youth breeders, Gregor Blaser shone as 1st youth club champion.

The best breeders in the spotlight

in the Federsee-Verein, Herrmann Merk demonstrated his class and secured two club championship titles for his Perlfeh and Blue Wiener, but was put in the shade by Alfons Moll with his Dutch and black and white. Josef Selg and Merk were also honored for the best rams. In the poultry area, Berthold Buck was the big winner with two places in the first three, including the award for the best hen and the best rooster!

The lovingly and splendidly decorated exhibition hall offered an impressive backdrop that attracted a variety of enthusiastic guests and provided an unforgettable experience. It was a spectacle that made the hearts of animal lovers beat faster and impressively staged the breeders' skills!
