Celebration for the 5th anniversary: lunch at Wenzelstein enthusiastic!

A festival of the community! On Tuesday, over 50 guests flocked to the Evangelical Community Center on Wenzelstein to celebrate the five -year existence of the popular lunch table. Pastor Margot Lenz, one of the co -initiators, remembered the beginnings of the project, which has now become an indispensable meeting point for the older generation. The celebration was opened with a sparkling champagne reception and a delicious lunch, while the participants were looking forward to the future of the neighborhood project.

Benjamin Henn from Caritas, who accompanies the lunch table from the start, shared his valuable experience from five years. "If it is good, it is going," he emphasized and emphasized that the lunch table is much more than just a place to eat. People meet here to chat, play and even take excursions together. "The more people, the easier the order," joked Henn over the reliable food supplier Dorahof, who not only supplies the guests at Wenzelstein, but also the "Rainbow" kindergarten. The atmosphere is family and inviting - a real social network that creates real connections!

A look into the future

The celebrations were accompanied by Mayor Tobias Huber and other guests who underlined the importance of the lunch table as a meeting place. "The heart lies in the people who come together," said Pastor Lorenz Kohl, who spoke the table blessing and hoped that the lunch table can soon be continued in the new community center. The volunteers, led by Marlis Ratzinger, ensured that the first plates were served with fragrant tortellini, followed by a festive main course with Kassler and Blaukraut.

Ursula von Helldorff and the pastor Lenz at the time recalled the beginnings of the project, which was launched by a neighborhood survey. The lunch table, which takes place every Tuesday at 12 p.m., has established itself as a point of contact for 30 to 40 participants who come together with coffee and cake until 4 p.m. "Lunch at the Wenceslas" - a recipe for success for living community and conviviality!
