A shock for the economy! The traffic light coalition has rejected the membership application for the CDU/CSU corporate tax reform in the Finance Committee. Financial spokeswoman Antje Tillmann and rapporteur Fritz Güntzler are disappointed with this blockade attempt. "Even before the summer break, we brought our suggestions to modernize German corporate tax law - and were rejected!"

The core claims were an outcry for companies: the tax burden for influenced profits should be reduced to 25 %, the solidarity surcharge was completely abolished and a fairer taxation was created. In addition, they requested more flexible regulations for loss payments and the suspension of minimum taxation for the loss presentation.
